I have to laugh.
When I was a college student in the seventies, taking a journalism course, that was one of the big topics of the day.
And it’s still a big topic.
Hard to believe.

In the ’50s JBS types emphasised a “link” between flouride and increased likelihood of absorbing strontium-90 from (mostly commie) nuke tests.
