Exactly. That’s why I find it so frustrating all this BS the wingnuts throw out about Government Motors because we’d have no auto industry, all the downstream vendors would have been affected (many closing shop as small businesses rely on ongoing receivables for operations - I know Duh - but moreso the small guys who might rely on one or two companies to sustain them) which would have affected ALL auto manufacturers (who share vendors) and some entire towns whose existence often rely on one or two companies.

The insanity of the wingnut mindset truly boggles my mind. We’re talking basic freaking economics here.
