trips to the Mall need to be well thought out…I saw them cleaning and refurbishing Old Glory down in the basement….makes you think

Our trips are rarely well thought-out, despite my husband’s best efforts, but we have a great time. We’ve been in D.C. a lot in the last few years because of my daughter’s internships — we always seem to be heading up or back with a minivan full of stuff. I never get tired of the Mall, but I’d like to see some of the less well-known sites too.
