1965, a tornado waltzed through the fishfolks’ hometown (not too far from where they live now, in point of fact) and right past my mother’s house. 30 years to the day later, another tornado followed the exact same path through the town. You really can’t make this stuff up sometimes.

Was that on May 6, 1965? I ended up in our basement in a Mpls suburb with my newborn son that day - a day I will always remember.
