That’s the other thing about this, if Karzai is indeed just trying to stir things up to keep us there. The middle east is very fragile right now. It could blow up and cause us to send those troops elsewhere.

Stirring up shit only works to keep us there if:

A) We don’t need the military elsewhere (unknown)
B) Politicians don’t bow to souring public opinion (doubtful)
C) The unrest doesn’t make staying impossible (questionable)
