I don’t recall any spending bill this large ever coming out of congress. Without enough time for any member to read it.

I also find the complaints about “not enough time to read a large bill” complaints to be disingenuous as well. Remember this scene from Fahrenheit 911….

Skip to about 1:00. Is this anything different? They don’t read these bills, they never have and it shouldn’t surprise you that they aren’t going to start anytime soon. This is nothing new. Where was the outrage when Republicans controlled congress? This is selective outrage, it’s one of the benefits of not being in control. We can all sit on the sidelines and pretend that we’d be doing something better or different.
