It’s looking that that wasn’t the case. It would seem odd that the prosecutor would hold back on some of the evidence but release only evidence that, for the most part, backs what Zimmerman has claimed.

The only possibility I can think of that might vindicate the prosecution is that although these documents originated from the prosecutor the leaks are probably coming from Zimmerman’s team. They might be selecting material that boosts their case and keeping quiet on the other stuff. It’s a bit of a stretch. I think it’s more likely that they charged him just to pacify Rev, Al, the Black Panthers, and let community tensions calm down.
