There’s also a very strong argument that the time limit statute is unconstitutional. Article V, which covers amendments doesn’t say anything about time limits (which is why the time limit was included in prior amendments). In fact, the 27th Amendment was approved by Congress in 1789 but wasn’t ratified by the required number of states until 1992.
There will be a number legal challenges. There are a couple states that have reversed the decision to ratify and there will be constitutional challenges based on that as well.
