Yeah, I think much like Nero in the first film, they barely characterized him and that hurt the film. Combine that with the poor casting choice, and it just sort of falls apart. There were good moments in the film, but overall it just doesn’t hold up under repeat viewings.

Cumberbatch is such a good actor, and still I couldn’t see him as Kahn.
That probably explains why I only watched it once…duty done.
