I think the first step might be just to get him into math classes and get those skills in order. Going back to school is going to be tough for him because high school was just an awful experience.

We’re in GA, I think Chattahoochee Tech is probably one of the closest schools to us. We’re kind of on hold, he’s on a waiting list to get into a state program for young adults with autism that will help pay for his schooling, and if we do too much outside of their parameters, they’ll take him out of the queue and close his case file(which I fought to have opened in the first place, long, long story). He needs to pick a school and field of study at some point, sooner rather than later. I’ll make some calls this week to the various trade unions around here, there has to be someone who we could at least go talk to about various career options.

My main concern is just staying the hell away from ripoff schools in the first place. How some of this stuff is even legal I have no idea.
