I thin it all the time. I hadn’t in some time.

I used to show dogs so I have a pair of very high quality, $75, extremely fine tooth thinning shears. I usually start thinning about 5” from my scalp so I don’t have individual hairs standing up. This time wasn’t the first headache I have gotten from my hair. It was definitely the worst.

Ah, I see. My mom made the mistake of letting a hairdresser thin my very thick, curly hair as a kid which she thinned near the root. In a very short time the look was… comical. I can’t even hear of the concept now without shuddering.
