Would you recommend using a cast iron skillet for browning the meat?

I bought a cast iron skillet a couple of years ago but I hardly ever use it because it is heavy as fuck. But I have heard that it’s worth the weight lifting.

Cast iron is probably the best kind of pan for browning ANY meat.
