I work part time for the local housing authority.

The application for Rent Assistance, I’m told, is 14 pages long. That’s a major problem for a lot of people. Online or telephone assistance is not, apparently, available (or wasn’t at the time of our last meeting.), The local Ojibwa reservation has a trimmed form that they use that’s only 2 pages (front & back) and they’re having much more use of the programs.

Yikes. I wonder if someone made it overly complex on purpose, like Florida’s unemployment system. Wouldn’t surprise me.
