Sherman contemplates his upcoming assault on Port Moresby: “After my carriers crush the Allies last fleet in the south Pacific, I’ll invade Port Moresby and cut Australia off. They say that catnip grows wild on New Guinea, so I’m gonna have a good time!”

Given that the game in the picture was on the Allied submarine campaign in the Pacific I referred to him doing that as being a “diligent escort” since it was pretty much impossible to carry out operations against convoys when he was sleeping on most of the western Pacific.

Not to mention I was occasionally finding submarines scattered on the floor.
