That’s why conservatives love sports. From an early age you are taught to worship your “team” and hate the other team. To treat like heroes the athletes and even let them get away with rape. You also get kids to learn early about hating authority, the refs. This translates into hate for government and regulation. It’s pretty genius if you think about it. So many small towns who only have religion and sports, and each tell them that you are not a true Christian or American unless you are a Conservative Republican.

It also conditions you to yell “WE WUZ ROBBED!!” every time you lose, too. This is a great insight.
