people who set impossibly high standards for others are the naive ones. some have no street smarts, and others are destined to always be disappointed when others fall short of their standards. that same crowd is also willing to go “all in” for someone they do see as nearly perfect, like President Obama. Because he is a “God-like” presence for them, they accept things from him that they SHOULD question. And that is WAY troubling to me.
