It’s perfectly OK to advocate the complete shut-down of the oil industry. That one seems to be acceptable.

I certainly don’t think we should completely shut it down. We should certainly develop viable alternatives. If we’ve shifted mostly or entirely to an alternative-energy economy in a few decades, I won’t shed a tear.
