I disagree…to me a hero is someone who disregards their own safety…possibly forfeit their own life for others…but I dilute the term once in a while myself…my mom built Liberators for three yeas but I don’t consider the effort heroic

So all war heroes have to be Audie Murphy? Only the very narrowest definition of war hero would require bullets to literally be flying by your head.

You really don’t find anything heroic in the actions of Patton and Ike during WWII? Or Grant and Lee during the civil war?

Regardless, my point is that Powell was the most respected military figure in America, and Limbaugh treats him like he’s Al Sharpton.
