No, each family has their own way of dealing with these kinds of issues. My family is very non-pacifist. As a kid I saw my mom jump over a counter at a wendys and go after some girl who called her a bitch. I learned my favorite phrase “I’ll beat you till the cops get here” from an older cousin. My great-aunt shot my uncle. Good times, good times.
