My legal guns (meaning all of them) are already registered de facto in that their serial numbers are in a database, recorded at time of purchase, so, in case I misuse one for unlawful purposes, and the gun is found at the scene of the crime or otherwise discovered, its ownership can be traced back to me.

So you don’t actually have a problem with gun registration. Great. Glad it took us that long to get here.
