The “modern” GOP may want to push gays, minorities and women back to their 1950s non-entity-ness, but it ain’t gonna work. Society moves on and old farts better get out of the way or be trampled.

They still have an awful lot of (dark) funding to back up their antediluvian views and a lot of political tricks up their sleeve. the 2014 elections were proof of that.
