The only reason I’d even consider it is because my wife has been complaining recently about our current one, which “sucks (in the bad way),” as she put it. She would actually like to get one, although I don’t think it would quite work as an anniversary gift.

You’d be better off giving her jewelry AND a hunk of cash to go buy whatever vacuum she wants … .
