Alas, perhaps you are right. I was born in 1953, yet was steeped in WWII culture (through my parents) and, to a certain extent that era still shapes what I think today.

Generation cast long shadws, I would suppose.

And I was born in 52, but New York TV stations play tons of movies from the 30’s, 40’s, and 50’s, over and over, especially those that had the same stars over and over (gee, I left out Martin and Lewis).
