No need to be “nervous” about having a firearm in the house, any more than there is about having, say, a chainsaw or other heavy power tool. It’s just a matter of learning how to use it safely, and keep it safe when not using it.

A chainsaw would indeed make me just as nervous. Perhaps even more nervous.

You have the guts to wade through the dregs of insanity and photograph it’s twisted face yet a GUN makes you nervous?!

Mechanical things capable of serious bodily harm simply make me nervous. I’m that way now, and I’ve always been that way. Sorry, nothing anyone says is gonna change me on this. It’s part of my personality.
