The way that the P.A. affected the 4th amendment was not mostly in the passage of the law, but the unpholding of provisions in the Supreme Court.

It’s not. “last resort” always carries the meaning of desperation. This is a dumb place to make a stand. Just look it up.

No, I didn’t. I asked what were the protections that existed prior, since the court has regularly upheld things such as FBI infiltration. I never in any way said you were complaining about FBI policy, in the least.
