Sweep in from where? If we don’t have the supply lines and logistics in place, that’s going to be a tough nut to crack even under good circumstances. We can’t rely on Pakistan for supply lines because our supplies are under near constant harassment from the time they’re offloaded in Karachi. The Khyber Pass is a mess, and alternative routes are a problem (courtesy of Russia).

My concern is that the problems in the frontier provinces will spread to the rest of Pakistan and Zardari is incapable of stopping it before it is too late.
