Not side stepping, just saying things in ways that are different than how you’d say them, yet basically the same.

Science is artificial.
Science deals with what we perceive to be real, universal.
Science is limited to human understanding.

Science is the attempt to wring as much knowledge as possible from perception, and perception is quite natural to us.

Science derives universal principles from aggregates of specific perceptions, not by imposing those universals upon the perceptions, but by allowing commonalities to arise and emerge from them.

Science is a method of systematically optimizing human understanding, by systematizing the perceptions from which it is drawn.
