Sorry to hear about the allerigies. We have some cherry blossoms around here, and DC has a lot for the festival.

NoVA is the reason VA went blue, IMO. Our county is solidly red, but not highly populated. It wouldn’t surprise me in the future, that more states turn blue. I think people are leaving their states to look for places that have less of a tax burden, only to vote in more people who will raise taxes. The mystifying part is that they’re oblivious to that.

I live just inside VA, near the VA/MD border, and daily, I see many MD license plates at the gas station at the end of my road. Filling up with gas, and buying armloads of cigarettes. They purchase them here because they’re cheaper, of course. Lots of the cars have obama bumper stickers.

Raising taxes is ok, as long as it’s other people who are paying it.
