You’ve been screeching for decades how criminals deserve harsh punishment, police abuse, and rape and murder from fellow inmates. Now you’re suddenly gravely concerned with the standards of living in jail? You can fuck right off with that shit. Besides, I know that the instant you get out, you’re going to 1) do it again and 2) not do or say a damn thing in support of the prisoners who are still locked up. Because it’s all about YOU and YOUR suffering, and everybody else is just a pawn in your universe.

DC jail has been in nightmarish shape for decades. Nobody gave a shit until upper middle class white guys got stuck in it.
