I guess I should ask a clearer question. There are several ways to move the data, one way is to create and transfer a clone, an identical copy. Another way is to reinstall Windows, then use Windows’ ‘Easy Transfer’ to transfer the settings and data. Is the second method what they used, or the first? Did they even tell you?

The reason it matters is the first way transfers damaged files, where the second method doesn’t.
