A thought experiment for those among us who still don’t believe there’s a problem in a country with 300 million guns — what if it really IS the guns that are the problem?

I know, if you’ve been conditioned to respond to that question with total rejection it might be difficult to even consider it.

But what if it really IS the guns? Then what?
