You know, neither Bush needed money from them at all. I think Jim Baker gained much more from his relationship with the Saudis. And I also believe that W did what W felt W needed to do after 9/11, no matter what it was. I used to work for an oil company and believe me, none of the guys who talked about the Saudis were fans, but they still had to deal with them.
