Anybody here halfway versed in military law? They moved the FT. Hood shooter to a local jail instead of the stockade. Are they gonna try him in civilian court? Only dealing I had with military justice was being a witness at a court martial.

Seeing how he is currently an active duty member and his crime was committed on a military post, I would think that UCMJ and Military court would take precedence.
but I’m just a retiree with no formal background.
