No, they said they wanted the “original 13th” reintroduced and ratified, which is not the same thing. I not a fan of “13thers”, but they’re not trying to remove the current 13th Amendment.

Fair enough - if as some of them claim, we recognize that the original 13th was really ratified, that would just renumber the rest of them, so the current 13th would be the 14th, etc. If the original were introduced as a new amendment, it would be the 28th.
