JFK got tagged with the Bay of Pigs (set up by the CIA under Ike) just like Clinton got blamed for Waco (set up by the ATF under Bush 41). Both occurred just after they came into office (Cuba by 90 days, and the machinery was in motion, Waco by just weeks after Clinton was inaugurated and- did you know this?- the acting Attorney General was Stuart Gerson, who was a holdover from the Bush Administration. Janet Reno was NOT the AG when Waco was initiated.)

Did not know that. Makes the blaming of Reno I see in popular myth all the more upsetting. I did know that Waco was something planned long before Bill became PResident though.
