Well- I don’t really care what the other party does with itself, I’m concerned with my party pulling it’s head out of it’s ass and getting back to Goldwater conservatism. It got us Reagan, and I think it’s still a winner.

You and I have talked about this before, I know….it’s not just that it would be good for the GOP, in my estimation, but it would be a good thing for the country. You can’t have a functioning democracy without at least two viable parties, and a party endorsing Goldwater conservatism would be attractive to a lot of different people— including people who are currently voting Democrat.
