I read Always Outnumbered, Always Outgunned by Walter Mosely—similar concept —ex-con trying to make it. I loved his Easy Rawlin’s series and some of his other stuff, but this was hard to take. Again, too much reality.

I haven’t read Mosely, but I plan to.

You definitely wouldn’t like Bunker’s autobiography.
