There is really nothing to show that they planned to vandalize anything.

It looks like they only planned to call the phone, and show that it is going directly to VM, and that the office was not taking any calls.

But you don’t have to play with anyone’s phone to do that. You can sit in your house and call them. They could have 20 people calling them and recording the vmail coming on, no?
