No, there is more to it than that. This was a serious operation by serious people. There is a long term goal. It has been suggested that the goal is to heighten tensions between India and Pakistan. OK, to what end? There are peices here that do not fit.

Perhaps they see an Indian/Pakistani war as the first push to a global Jihad. Maybe. It really just doesn’t add up though. Both nations are nuclear. Perhaps they feel that if Pakistan is going to launch and get obliterated by India, they will launch at Israel too? Perhaps they feel that an atomic exchange between India and Pakistan will galvanise bomb making in the rest of the Muslim world?

Perhaps they thought the cricketers were Chabad?

It does not add up.
