I hope this doesn’t lead to derailing the thread or anything. I would just like to respond to something posted earlier, in reaction to my critique:
I think it’s weird to say that things get posted “behind people’s backs”. I mentioned this before when Mandy was there. Here, I was specifically asking Dark Falcon a question that pertained to what he posted a few minutes earlier, even though I then realized he was already gone.
I also find it weird to say that people “try to get others to say bad things”. I mean, obviously there is such a thing as a suggestive question. “When did you stop beating your wife?”
But there is also such a thing as someone revealing their ignorance/bias on a certain subject, and then blaming it on the person who asked the question. See S. Palin, “the media made me tell bullshit by asking gotcha questions.”
It’s hard to always be impartial enough to tell the difference.
Now, a lot of people obviously think there’s a lot of the former going on, but I have yet to see someone explain it linking to those attempts. cont
