I’m surprised she had to make it explicit she wasn’t running. No running around to primary states, no fundraising activity, not even a campaign website. That should be enough to make a statement without sacrificing her dignity. She was owed at least that-not having to lower herself to making an explicit statement.

One group that would be unhappy-make that two-Berners and Trumpers. No foil this time,. they have to actually campaign on ideas-which they clearly lack-and with people who are horribly inept and flawed.

Well, I mean, after all, she didn’t take the veil and renounce all worldly cares, and she’s steadfastly refused to simply vanish in a puff of disappointment. I mean, after other people lost their elections for President, they all set themeselves adrift on ice floes, never to be heard from again.

I mean, Jesus H. Christ on a pogo stick, John Fucking McCain made himself a fixture on the Sunday talk shows, and people didn’t spent 2010 and 2011 saying, “Oh, my god! what if he runs again! Why can’t he just go away?”
