Why the ongoing revolving door of characters on Saraa’s program? Maybe this is just a technical question. Why not develop a favorite character (as on Sesame Street) and stick with him/her? My hunch is that these programs are created by adults who don’t give a rat’s ass about the kiddie viewers.

Actually, I suspect the revolving door is strategic. Get a kid attached, then let the Israelis ‘kill off’ the character. It creates a sense of paranoia, grief, desire for revenge…

Oh, you’re right, the program is created by adults who don’t give a rat’s ass about the kids. But I suspect that they’re doing this just as deliberately as Sesame Street creates longtime characters.
