I’d like to see a brand of Economic Conservatism that looks at interest rates this low, looks at failing infrastructure, and says, “Holy shit! People are PAYING US to lend us money! Let’s fix this dump!”

A rusty, crumbling bridge too far, I suppose.

They can even call that economic conservatism if it helps get it passed.
