Yes— this is a good thing about the karma system: it isn’t anonymous, so we know who updinged or downdinged.

Frankly, I think that’s excellent — I really like being able to have a fight with someone over one issue, and they can see that I’m updinging them even though we disagree, and/or they can see that I’m updinging them minutes later on something wholly unrelated.
I think it helps avoid bad feelings, in many cases.
