Exactly. I cannot see a church endorsing abortion. I can see a church showing compassion to women who choose to have an abortion, and in fact, I would want to have nothing to do with a church that failed to show compassion to a woman in that situation.

But there is a difference between having compassion for sinners, and gleefully promoting the sin.
