A little more accurate.

For decades Saskatchewan has been a really inexpensive place to live, the average house price for a 1000 sq ft bungalow was around $60,000. We started booming when oil hit $150.00/barrel and Potash hit new highs. Our average price is now $240,000. Rents went from <$500 to $1000 in a blink of an eye. Many apartments are now condos.

In the low income areas, there are now several families living in each house and both violent and non-violent crime has gone up in the area.

I wonder why?
