Of course you’re free to not like him of forgive him. I get it. But he has learned some lessons. He’s now a dogged critic of the neocons, torture and American military adventurism. He thinks Rummy and Cheney are war criminals. He was both wrong and conned and he owned up - and changed his view.

He supports the ACA and and higher taxes on the rich and “Fisks” the Ryan budget and his fake catholicism.

He’s mostly on my side.
