Sounds like Heinz 57 varieties of bullshit to me. It would be idiotic for the Army to determine someone’s status preemptively like this while the possibility exists of talking to that person.

This is a full metal wingnut, boasts being ex-Army and having talked to the other guys in Bergdahl’s unit, and is convinced that they’re telling the total truth, he deserted to join the Taliban, and the Army has sat on that info for years. He’s also convinced that the White House is gonna work to shut down the investigation because it’ll hurt them when he’s court-martialed and convicted of desertion and treason.

Did I mention this nutter’s a conspiracy theorist?
