I am so sorry. I try to be mindful of how blessed I am. My relationship with my mother especially because I never thought we would ever get along. Sometimes I have to remind myself that she literally birthed me (and I think she has had to remind herself of the same). Alot of forgiveness and letting go, but I know I am blessed.

It’s really hard for parents to let go and stop treating our children like… well, children. Because we never stop worrying about you or wanting to protect you.

BTW, you remind me a lot of myself at your age. ;o)
