Count me among those who wish Ron Paul was among the nominees. I really liked his denial of any knowledge of the racist newsletters that went out for years under his name, and his paranoia over the mythical North American Union and his “trade, not invade” policy with a big asterix against trading with Mexico.

And his Paultard minions running around screaming “9/11 was an inside job” just added to the Ron Paul mystique!

I put Ron Paul and Pat Buchanan in the same image basket in the sense that both seem to go out of their way to be contrarian on pretty much any issue. Buchanan beats Paul, because Paul is better on the economy.
